Curtains & Blinds in Town Square

Made-to-measure curtains and blinds in Town Square

Town Square is one of the most family-heavy communities in Dubai, and that changes what the job is. In most areas the living room is the centrepiece. Here it is usually a child's bedroom.

Children's rooms are the whole job here

Three things come up in almost every house.

Nap times. A bedroom has to go dark in the middle of the afternoon, not only at night. That is the harder problem: the sun is high and strong, and a fabric that looks dark at nine in the evening can be useless at two. It is decided by the lining and by how well the edges close, not by how heavy the fabric feels.

Sunrise. First light is well before six for much of the year, and a child who wakes with the sun wakes the house. Proper blackout in the children's rooms is the highest-value thing you will buy here.

Cords. A looped blind cord within reach of a small child is a genuine strangulation hazard, not a theoretical one. We fit cordless or motorised as standard in any room a child sleeps or plays in, and we will not install a corded blind there. That is a refusal, not an upsell. Our motorised range covers the options, and eyelet curtains are worth knowing about too — no cords by design, and they slide off the pole for washing, which matters more in a child's room than anywhere else.

Park-facing and street-facing are different problems

Town Square is built around its central park, and whether your home faces it changes the answer.

Park-facing homes have open green in front and low-rise around it, so nothing tall looks back at you. By day privacy is barely a concern and the view is worth keeping, so a fine sheer does it. The catch is the evening: low-rise means people in the park are at your eye level, and a lit ground-floor room reads clearly from the grass. Those rooms want a second layer even though they feel private in daylight.

Street-facing rows are the opposite: overlooked at close range by the row opposite all day, with headlights sweeping in as cars turn in. Privacy is the constant, and there is no view to protect.

Where to spend, and where not to

This is a value community and people here are rightly careful with money, so we will be direct.

Spend on the bedrooms. That is where poor curtains genuinely cost you something — sleep, and the hour your children get up. Lining and edge coverage there are worth it.

Do not spend on the rooms nobody sits in. A guest room used four times a year, a sitting room that stays closed, a landing window — those want something plain and durable. We will quote the cheaper option and say so unprompted.

We would rather do three rooms properly now and the rest next year than stretch one budget across a whole house so that nothing in it works well.

The best showroom in Town Square is your neighbour's house

Townhouse rows repeat here, so the house two doors down has your windows.

Fabric books and photographs only tell you so much. If we have already fitted a home in your row or phase, we can tell you what was done — which fabric, which lining, which heading — so you can judge it at your own window size. Ask when we visit — in a community this repetitive it is the most useful reference there is.

Being this far out changes aftercare, not just delivery

Town Square sits a long way down Al Qudra. The obvious consequence is the drive; the one that matters more is what happens after installation day.

A curtain job is not finished when the fitters leave: the dressing has to be untied about a week later, and tracks sometimes want re-tensioning a few months in. In a far community those are the visits that quietly get skipped.

So we schedule them rather than leaving them on request, and the installation team carries spare brackets, fixings and gliders — out here a missing part is not a ten-minute errand, it is another week.

How pricing works

Message us on WhatsApp with your phase. A supervisor visits for a free measurement, bringing the fabric books to you — every window measured twice, every child's room flagged so it is specified cordless — and you get a written, window-by-window quote within 24 hours. Free consultation, free measurement, free delivery, free quotation; installation included. The full process is in how it works.

Installed on the day we promise

A specific date on your approved quote, not a range, written into your contract — with a one-year mechanical and labour warranty on everything we make and fit.
