For Interior Designers

Our trade terms

Most window treatment suppliers negotiate trade terms project by project, which means the designer who pushes hardest gets the best deal and everyone else quietly subsidises them. We set your terms once, in writing, and apply them from your first project to every one after it. You will not get a better outcome by pushing, and you will not get a worse one by not pushing.

Trade terms available. Tell us about your practice and we'll send our designer rate card.

Payment terms

  • 50% on order confirmation
  • 50% before installation
  • Invoiced to your practice or direct to your client — your choice, agreed at the start of the project

We do not offer 60 or 90-day terms. Custom fabric is bought and cut before we are paid; extending terms is what makes suppliers start missing dates. We would rather say no now than let you down on site.

What you get

A named project supervisor

One person from survey to handover, present on installation day. You are not chasing a call centre the morning your client is walking through.

Window-by-window quoting

Every quote is itemised by room and window, so you can present it to a client line by line and adjust a single room without re-quoting the project.

Your fabric or ours

We are happy to make up COM (client's own material). We will inspect it, flag anything we think will not perform — weight, shrinkage risk, sun exposure — in writing before we cut. We will not refuse a specification you have chosen, but we will put our concerns on record so you are covered.

Technical survey before we quote motorisation

If the property has Control4, KNX, Lutron or a smart-home stack, we test compatibility on site before quoting. We will not promise integration we have not verified.

The date guarantee

Installed on the date in the contract — not a range — same as our retail terms. On a fit-out where the window treatments are the last trade in, that matters more than any line on the quote.

Discretion

We never publish a project without written permission, and we never approach your client directly. If they contact us after handover we route it back through you unless you have told us otherwise in writing.

Where responsibility sits

We are direct about this because it is where designer-supplier relationships usually break down:

  • You own the design decision. Fabric, colour, heading style and drop are confirmed by you in writing before we cut.
  • We own the execution. Measurement, making, fit, finish and date. If any of those are wrong, we remake at our cost.
  • If the client changes their mind after cutting, that is chargeable — to you or to them, as you have agreed between you.

Clear lines make for long relationships.
